I don't see anything wrong with 270-280 whp from a stock G, especially since the car makes 280, maybe 298 at the crank
Who needs to worry about a loss of power through the drivetrain anyways?
You'll be lucky to make more than 215 to the wheels with a stock revup on the Mustang Dyno I'm used to...

More like ~15-20 whp lower from the dyno jets I have experienced. (I have always dyno'd on Shawn's dynapack).
