As most people know on this site, I'm a pretty opinionated guy and I have a pretty strong distaste for most aftermarket companies and the way they bend the truth, prey of people's ignorance, and the typical crappy customer service that goes along with most shop-made parts. Spacers are spacers. Someone's 5/16" spacer is going to perform exactly like another company's 5/16" spacer. However, when get something from Motordyne, you're paying for this:

1) A product that performs as advertised
2) A high quality and reliable product that will fit perfectly and looks OEM
3) An owner that stands completely behind his product and if there is any sort of problem, he fixes it immediately
4) An owner that does a crazy amount of R&D and his aerospace background doesn't hurt when it comes to designing products and thinking outside the box
5) He uses 3rd party dynos to validate his part's performance

So yes, you might pay a little more for a MD products, but you're getting one of few true automotive parts that work as advertised and you know it will fit perfectly every time.

Makes as much power as the MD spacer, but costs about 6X as much. Looks freaking sweet though.

I beg to differ. The Cosworth, according to other users, produces similar gains and looks amazing. If you have some cash to spend......

I have the mrev and 5/16 spacer and have had good luck with them. Not flashy looking or anything but its real performance (the cosworth plenum is fantastic looking though)
