throttle body: Coolant Bypass mod

hey guys, some people were telling about this mod. you can basically get the parts for under 10 bucks and get this done. has anyone tried it on their cars? Im in socal, so if anyone wants to help me do it, i will buy them lunch. btw i have no mechanical ability. the only mod i could do my self would be the clear corners, so yea

Be careful of cold humid weather you don't want TB to ice over and freeze/jam up.

its not worth the hassle.
Just remember your intake manifold is sitting right on top of the cylinder heads. Even if you use those "Isothermo whatever gasket", you still can block out the radiant heat coming off from the bottom. So unless you can completely isolate the heat transfer to your intake manifold plenum, otherwise the "gain" from reduction of heat in your throttle body is insignificant.
