Exhaust decisions...
Exhaust decisions...
In the GReddy SP2 thread, most seem to be pleased with the product. Being that the only noticeable difference from the OEM exhaust is sound, I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to install a Y- and mid-pipe along with the SP2. Realizing this approach will drive the total cost of the exhaust system to that (or higher) of a complete cat-back system like the Borla, Nismo, and others, how would it compare?

Re: Exhaust decisions...
That's what made the difference for me. Although I love the sound of the GReddy, the GReddy was only about $40 cheeper than the Borla TD. Since the Borla is c/w Y pipe it became a no brainer (for me(sedan)). If you just want a good sound, go with the GReddy.

I want that good sound, but I wanna realize performance gains too. The Borla TD sounds nice. I have not heard the GReddy, but since everyone seems to be drooling over it, it must sound pretty sweet. Do the true-dual systems offer better gains than the rest?
