I already searched through the forums and couldn't get a straight answer.... I have an 06 AT and I wanna put a z tube on it but its off an 04 350z will that still fit.. And will there be any fitment issues or will it rub my ac line..?? He's asking 40 bux.? Please let me know.....

You had a z tube off an 04 350z ?? And it fit your g.... mines a 06 AT is there a diff

 

Wow, it's been so long since I had a Z tube that I forgot you could use them on a G. To answer your question norcal2006g35, yes it will fit.

 

hmm.... i bought mine about 2 yrs ago from Performance Nissan here at SoCal. it was a package with the JWT pop charger. but when i took out my z-tube to change my spark plug the vacuum hose connector broke. so i just replace it with the stillen which is more sturdy. the look of the stillen tube is a lil ruff but in my opinon it is more sturdy than the OEM z-tube

 

i bougth an 06 ztube for my 03

 

Thanks guys for all the help!! Soo what I got so far is that there's no difference ?? And they all fit the same... do u guys notice a differnt sound with the tube and KnN air filter

 

if u get the pop charger, youll hear a slight sucking noise , but if u keep the stock airbox (which i did), you still hear it slightly, but i did notice a bettr throttle response

 

Soooo u can't here it with the ztube and KnN air filter at all??!

 

yes it will fit, and it will sound louder but you wont get the whistle sound most CAI make

 

are u going to keep the stock airbox , or replace with a pop charger ?

i went with airbox, bc it provides better airflow and no heat soak

When I installed my ztube last week I noticed the slightest difference in sound, just a little more growl when getting on the gas.
Only mod I have on the engine, so far. Got a 06 MT by the way.
