You know, I've thought about a custom Magnaflow setup myself. I was looking through their parts selection and it would be darned easy with a good muffler shop.

Don't really need a Y pipe. Run straight from the CATs, to a crossover (X)pipe then on to the back. OR, they've got if you want, a 2-in-2 out that could be used as a mid-pipe/x-over, then have custom bent pipes out the back, either put single's to each side with tips. Or tuck them up crossways like the stock (or probably more like the new APS) that has two smaller mufflers tucked up where the stocker is, then 90 out to the tips.

Heck, anything is cheaper than dropping $1500+ on some of these systems.

i ended up adding a resonator to my set up. i was getting droan cruising at 60 mph speeds in 6th gear, the droan started after installed my hr ypipe, which was awhile back but never really noticed it until my girl started turning off my radio so she could have a moment of "talk time" lol. so now i have no droan and my car doesnt really sound the same anymore. kinda disapointed but now its sounds just a tab louder than stock and doesnt give the high pitch G sound it did prior to the resonator.
I'm gonna try this out for awhile and see how i like it. if not the resonator is getting cut out.

Can you post a clip of your exhaust?

I'm wondering the same thing. I was thinking of keeping the coupe midpipe but adding the rear end mufflers and the HR Y pipe and stock resonators.

Has anyone does this yet? If so, please post your results and sound clips!
