Thumbs up Z-Tube go VROOM

Last Friday I installed my Stillen z-tube and k&n drop in, into my 05 AT coupe. When I started it up I was disappointed with the sound. Drove it all weekend nothing new. The following Tues. I pulled out of the parking lot from work trying to beat some on coming traffic and there it was "the most beautiful sound my car ever made." Now I am starting to hear a growl starting at around 3500. I have a Fast Intentions on its way but this was a nice start. Those considering the z-tube and k&n drop in its a nice mild mod, low budget that makes it a lil more fun to drive that G35.

I installed the z-tube last week and I didn't notice one bit of difference. I already have the greddy evo II exhaust so that might have been why. I was a hoping it was going to sound a little louder though.

I don't know about the Z-tube alone, but I added mine with apleneum spacer and there's a noticable difference. The title of your thread made me LOL.

added my ztube and barely noticed anything even when i step on it. Adding non-revup plenum and MD 5/16 iso kit with pop charger this sunday. im waiting for fedex to bring the spacer from MD right now. they already brought the other two so i guess i must just be patient.

bluemax, I installed my 5/16 spacer and ztube/K&N filter at the same time. Reset the ECU and took her out for a spin.

I noticed the difference RIGHT away. Make sure you reset your ECU using the instructions on Tony's site (motordyne) and your new mods will help your butt dyno feel assured you made a good purchase
