Maybe you meant "these" as in the vids posted? I didnt look at the vids - is it of Sash's headers?

My post was to the OP regarding his inquiry about Megan.
I'm talking about what he is buying. This thread is about Megan long tube headers. They are a one piece going down to the exhaust.

I'm thinking about getting headers since that is the only thing missing from being full bolt-on.

I have test pipes and my exhaust is quiet (my car is the G35 in the MD exhaust vid) I wonder if it will get much louder with headers.

Do you still have my number?
Im doing the install my self, i have access to a lift If you want you can stop by, pm me your # again.

right - that was gone over more than once... long tubes ommit cats... but you responded to the 350Z link I put up regarding headers that are going to be in production - IMO a much better choice than Megan.

I wasnt sure what you meant when you said "thats what these are"...

These megan headers are long tube type, regardless of collector type. They definitely arnt shorties

I think OCG35's point is that is you are looking for longtube headers you should purchase those ones instead of the megan ones, not whether or not they are long tube, and I agree with him. If these headers are anything like the ones made for B/H series motors, expect warped flanges and exhaust leaks

They aren't anything like B/H, but have great reviews. Megan Racing makes quality products for a great price. Thats why I went with them, though i do appreciate OC's recommendation, I am going with the Megan LT's

its not by coincodence they have a reputation for having parts that break...

Im just saying, its kind of sketchy when the cost of their headers are so cheap compared to the other brands.

To name a few.

DC- $769.95 http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-3681.cfm

Nismo- $1250 http://www.envisionelite.com/Exhaust..._Headers-.html

Crawford- $995 http://www.crawfordzcar.com/html/performance_parts.html

Strup- $599 http://www.alteredatmosphere.com/mm5..._Code=350Z_ENG

Megan Racing - $390 http://www.meganracing.com/products/...=802&catid=131

Mind you all of those are equal lengthish. and are signifinally higher in price compered to the longtubes you are buying, which should be more expensive because they are longtube. and to get such a low price, they have to cut cost some place....

But w/e, its your car! I wish you the best of luck with them and hope you enjoy them,

I can understand where you are coming from. Its a very competitive market out there and the street goes both ways. People have talked so much nonsense about Topspeed and ive never had a problem quality wise yet. The only sole reason i went with these is because they delete the cats and there is no need for testpipes. Not many people have long tubes so i figured i would try something different (i love to try different things) So i did some research and heard lots of good reviews on these. As far as other makes/models go, of coarse there will be a few bad reviews thrown around in there, but thats the case of anything you buy. I will def keep everyone updated on the quality, how well they were packaged, and installation goes, followed by a sound clip
