Some Insight ON COUPE BORLA CAT BACK FROM OWNERS??

I just ordered the Borla Cat back for my coupe today from Grubbs...

Just wanted to know from any Coupe Borla Owners if there is anything I should pay particular attention to when doing the install or is there any common issues/cures with it....

thanks in advance

Re: Some Insight ON COUPE BORLA CAT BACK FROM OWNERS??

I've got Borla TD on my Coupe and love it. Only issue when I installed was the rearmost hangars were slightly crooked and didn't sit in the rubbers quite right.
I suggest you test fit them in the stock rubbers to see if the hangars need a slight alignment b4 final install.
Some have had issues with mixing the intermediate tubes from side to side. Some attention is needed there too and a test fit will solve any problems.
G/L and enjoy.

Re: Some Insight ON COUPE BORLA CAT BACK FROM OWNERS??

i installed this with my friend last year in my driveway using Ramps...

The toughest thing was breaking the bolts loose from the cats... it required kicking the wrench several times, the bolts there are tightened down very well....

Other than that, as GSM mentioned, the hangars may not fit on perfectly, but mine doesnt even move..its in there tight.

Also, the angle of the mid-way tubes over the strut-bar down there, make sure you have at least 1 or 2 inches of clearance, turn the tubes till you get enough clearance. Should be fine.

Good luck and happy growling
