HKS COPY OWNERS ONLY x02 cxlighting etc...

I know HKS really is a great exhaust but I can't afford it. I wanted to hear from actual owners of HKS COPY exhaust pros and cons. (x02 cxlighting ebay exhaust) I have not heared the HKS and Imitation side by side. only in youtube. Again please only from actual owners. I want to know if you recomend it or regret it. Thanks

I love my xo2. It was a great cheap alternative, an it sounds great. I bought the new titanium tips from Topspeed for about 112 shipped for both, put em on and it looks so much better.

well you will have to drill your own holes on the side of the tips when you get em. I just mocked em up marked a spot and used a drill press and bam, you got new tips.
Here is the link to the tips

i have to agree with the other owners here. i was very pleased with mine. aside from the tips rusting. i'm ordering new tips in the spring. but it sounds great and fitment wasn't a problem.

I have owned both and HKS is a much better sound, fit and finish, better gaskets and hardware. You do get what you pay for.

i would like to thank all you guys who have the exhausts and posted up with the reassuring messages.

unfortunately the vast majority of the forum doesn't understand the fact that not everyone can just save up for an extra month and go from a $400 dollar exhaust to a $1400 one without much difficultly.

Insurance bought me my HKS exhaust, among other things, so no saving up required

If you can't support the habit, don't do it then.
