Is the stock exhaust sufficient?

I am just wondering how good the stock exhaust is. I was reading and the stock cats seem to be the most restrictive part. I put in 2.5 unresonated test pipes and figured if i put back the stock exhaust i could eliminate some noise and rasp. I just want to make sure the stock exhaust will be sufficient for na mods. If anything i will maybe get a Greddy se muffler. I just want to still get the performance benefits of the test pipes while quieting the car down some and hopefully eliminate rasp. If it will not help with rasp and will not have enough flow i will just buy a topspeed exhaust.

Your probably dealing with more of a rasp / noise thing than you are performance

I would suggest that the stock exhaust on this car was just a little too restrictive.

You really won't see improvements without a tune though- you probably free'd up all you need to with those test pipes. (if not to much)

Good luck getting rid of rasp N/A with test pipes.

stock does sound nice but is probably restrictive. (compared to an aftermarket setup)

To me nothing is sufficient on our cars. If it can be upgraded, personally i go for it, but thats just me
