How loud will it get with X02 and headers???

How much louder can I expect my G to be with Strup headers, test pipes and the X02 exhaust? I had planned on just getting a Y-pipe but a chance to get an exhaust has arised. I am really not looking to get a drone while cruiseing down the highway..i still want to be some quiet and cmfortable..

When I originally installed my Stillen headers and Stillen dual exhaust, I had to replace the resonators because the drone was so loud I couldn't stand it. I put in a couple of Flowmaster mufflers in there and the sounds was awesome. So, you may have to adjust after the initial install until it turns out the way you want. Just bring money.

i'm pretty sure that your exhaust will be the first to go....ever wonder why it was so cheap to buy in the first place?

You are going to hate it. Just ask Iron-Mike. I sold him my Invidia test pipes and he has an X02. Super duper loud.

like Hi-Tech_G said... it freakin screams

I have the stock headers, Invidia non-resonated test pipes and the XO2 exhaust. When you drive it normal it doesn't sound too bad. Its louder than stock but nice and deep and agressive sounding. You'll like it.

Hop on the highway and open it up and thats exactly what it does... its insanely loud, aggressive and will make people in cars around you look at you like you stole something from them. There is drone on the highway and depending on how hard you are into the pedal will determine just how much of it and how loud it is

I'm going to be switiching to a Fast Intentions setup with resonated test pipes this spring in hopes of eliminating all that noise and drone. I miss the sound of the stock exhaust to be honest

Guess it depends where your from. Where I live in Cali, I wouldnt even screw around with putting test pipes on my car because its to obvious for police. I got HFC's and called it a day.

Headers + test pipes + exhaust is gonna be pretty damn loud, maybe not so much at idle but when you get on the throttle youll get a lot of attention and im sure if you do it in front of a cop hell pull you over (but then again what cop wont when you gun it by them?) I think the smell is gonna be your biggest problem because a cop can easily tell, sound not so much if you know how to minipulate the throttle so you dont drone too much.

No I dont. Im running OEM exhaust with HFC's. Which have a nice sound but im looking for an exhaust. The XO2 was an idea but I think I might just save my money for a true dual exhaust, but who knows I might get impatient and get the XO2 for the time being since its so much cheaper than most other exhausts That and my MREV2 w/ ISO themermal 5/16 spacer is next on my list of to do's as far as power goes.
