theres a few diff. types of test pipes out there for our cars....if u dont want much rasp go with one that has a resonator, it will minimize rasp.....i think a lot of peepo use fast intention resonated.. ichiba resonated test pipes..kinetix resonated...u have a pretty good budget to get n e one of the ones i mentioned...oh yea go to youtube they got a pretty good selection of sound clips for u to hear..and if u got time type in longtube headers g35, it should be the only one "xxhotelcrazyxx" his car sound bad *** IMO.

with my hks i really didnt do much research an got a cheap $100 resonated one from ebay....it still rasps for me...but i was pleased with the results... performance wise =D

i would recommend fast intention because i see a lot of peepo on the forum have them.. so i guess that makes them pretty good...and yes any of them will make the exhaust get louder....the cat. is the most restricted part of the exhaust so replacing it with just pipes will make it loud..n of course more air flow =D

Test pipes will make it VERY Loud. if your willing to deal with the extra attention (both wanted and unwanted) then I hope you find what your looking for.

Take a look at that test pipe. You'll get the sound your looking for, good power gains and the quality of the product means you won't have to worry about the part failing on you.

I think test pipes are a pretty useless upgrade, unless you are really looking for increase hp w/ internal engine modifications.. because it will be really loud and will get you pulled over with a fix it ticket.

You can always go with Hi Flow Cats as well too. I bought the Berk metallic HFCs a couple months ago and love them.

Still get power gains, they don't smell like exhaust fumes and I have no check engine light either. Basically sound like stock but when I get on it you can hear the sound of the exhaust a little better than with the stock cats....

Here's a clip (windows open...stock exhaust... same mods in my sig)

Best part, I can still use them for FI (which was my plan anyway)
