And any dynos and pics would help and make it more Professional. Also links to buy them would be nice as well.
I’m making a thread for both intakes and exhaust systems and trying to collect as much info about each but using search is a Bvtch.

This will be for noob reference and to help clean up the forum a bit and make it look less cluttered and repeated.

Please put input.



Sedans im working on that too since exhaust is a little diffrent.

Just post in here and then ill go back and fix it.

Intake - OEM with K&N drop in + Z-Tube FTW!
Pros - better than 95% intakes
Cons - its OEM looking
Price - $45 for filter $70(new) for Z-tube
Any Noticeable Power gain? - yes
Mostly Sound gain? - sounds slightly louder
Recommendations - yes has been dynod/track proven to do better than most
Worth the $$$? - yes

no dyno from OEM vs K&N + Ztube.

Pros - quality, styling, sound, performance, IMO this exhaust has it all
Cons - pricey and loud to some
Price - $1200+ brand new
Any Noticeable Power gain? yes
Mostly Sound gain? both power/sound
Recommendations? yes
Worth the $$$? every bit! lots of looks and people love the sound!

Intake : ztube amsoil drop in/ fujita shortram / arc box with arc piping
Pros: cheap and nice sound/ cheap and pretty/ shiney baller
Cons : nothing / no carb sticker / waste of money
Price :100 / 200 / 800
Any Noticeable Power gain? no/ no / no
Mostly Sound Gain? yes/ yes / yes
Recommendations yes/ yes/ no
Worth the $$$ yes/ yes/ no


Exhaust Brand: fuji/ injen/ greddy/ stillen/ apexi
Pros :quiet hella shiney / loud / nice tucked muffler / its a td / perfect size and sounds like stock but louder
Cons: tooo quiet and huge tips/ drone/ not td / ugly and sounds like **** with highflows/ alil to stock looking
Price : 1200 with y pipe/ 900/ 1300/ 1200/ 850
Any Noticeable Power gain: no/ lost of power/alil bit / no/ yes
Mostly Sound Gain: yes/ yes/ no/ no/ no
Recommendations maybe/ maybe/ yes/ no/ yes
Worth the $$$ no/ yes/ yes/ no/ yes

Same setup as me, and same recommendations I'd give. HKS = win. I got a chrome Z tube though so mine was more like $100 bucks.

intake- oem/K&n filter/Ztube


Exhaust- HR Ypipe/Custom 2.5 Magnaflow with Magnaflow resonator.
pros- similar sound to stock just louder, good sound in high rpm's,No droan
cons - sometimes sound is to quiet for me.
Price - $150
Recommend - yes
Hp - Not sure, no dyno #s

Intake - Z-tube with JWT Pop Charger
pros: clean/cheap/effective, sounds awesome
cons: none, have had no problems whatsoever
power gains: no dyno done after install, but butt dyno says yes!
price:cheap - check the Marketplace

Motordyne 5/16" Spacer
pros: cost, proven
cons: none
power gains: proven
price: cheap - check marketplace or Motordyne


Exhaust- Motordyne Dual Harakiri w/ Y-pipe
pros: Motordyne (nuff said), Sexcellent sound, Titanium, fits like a glove, v-band for easy installation/changing out res/test pipe/hfc - MAKES POWER!
cons: $, my guess is most people don't want to shell out the cash for it. . .but they're missing out
power gains: increase in mid torque and hp
price: check Motordyne's website

Recommend - Highly recommend all these mods.

Intake/Exhaust Brand: Stillen Intake+Z-Tube, Fast Intentions exhaust, FI Test pipes
Pros - Sound and potential power gains after tune
Cons - None IMO, maybe price for sime
Price - Stillen $199, CF Z-tube - $120, FI Exhaust $1100-1700, FI TP's - $289
Any Noticeable Power gain? I'm accually running lean right now, should be pretty noticeable gains after i get a tune
Mostly Sound Gain? Intake yes
Recommendations - Both
Worth the $$$ - For me, Yes!
