Sedan Mid-Pipe Resonator removed
This massive weight difference in resonators may explain the distinctive difference in exhaust notes between the Gs and Zs.
i know the Z though has a much larger axle back though
the G's axle back is like the size of a toaster
wonder how it would sound with a Z resonator welded where the old G one was at
If you were local i'd give you mine to see. It's just taking up room in my garage.
It would sound just like the coupe midpipe you buy used for about $60. The coupe midpipe uses the same resonator as the Z. I can tell you this though, the 05/06 sedan midpipe, though it uses a larger resonator than the Z/coupe, is louder, deeper, and overall much better sounding. This is because the sedan and Z/coupe use entirely different muffler designs.

You can get close with a coupe midpipe... but it is just not the same.
ehh screw resonators haha
not worth the trouble and the minimal drone is completely worth the rumbling idle and the ripping WOT
i'll just get one of these then i'm done with my exhaust
