First mod:Z-tube, KN, and grounding kit

Today I received Z-tube and K&N filter. I already bought the stillen grounding kit so I was just waiting for Z-tube and K&N filter.
After I installed, I did easy ECU RESET. To be honest, I do not hear intake sound yet. I definately noticed smooth shifting (5AT). My Next mod will be a custom exhaust + 5/16" MD spacer

Nice start but I suggest upgrading from that grounding kit. Big dissapointment all together. Either get the GG kit or get one from Sean aka SxExCx.

+1 on the GroundingGear grounding kit. I just got mine and its AWESOME.

I did a lot of research before I bought mine and it looked like one of the more solid systems out there.
Looking at your picture its got more cables too...

Great start with the z-tube and K&N filter, custom exhaust....you haven't completed the intake side yet. You need a 5/16" MotorDyne spacer ISO then consider an exhaust system. Muffler company's spend thousands of hours testing systems before they put them up for sale to get max HP and legal sound levels. Do you believe you can buy a pair of mufflers and some pipe and achieve their level.... The odds in doing so are extremely slim if not impossible! But I wish you Luck!!

Yes, I am getting 5/16" MotorDyne spacer soon. After that I will do the custom exhaust. I am not really looking for huge HP gain fro the exhaust though.

those exhaust looks too rice for me IMO. hopefully you didnt pay a bunch of $$$ for it. Also for the money your gonna spend on the custom piping you couldve just bought a used HKS exhaust

But your car your money!

Good step on the intake mods

If you reset the ECU the computer has to "relearn" your driving style and adjust for it... kind of like teaching a toddler to walk again.

If you drive like an old G'ma; the computer will adjust accordingly and you'll probably get better gas mileage but your performance will suffer.

If you drive it like you stole it; the computer will adjust and give you more performance.

There you go. The computer's gonna use your driving style immediately after the reset to base its performance on...

Great first mods!!! PLEASE stay with your factory airbox (Apparently it looks like you are). I spent $$$$$ on differen't intakes over the years, only to come back to the factory air box as highest flowing, and coldest.

FYI the Amsoil OEM drop in filter flows just as good as the K&N but it filters WAY better. And it's a dry element filter so no oil!!

^ I will try it later. I will stay with the factory airbox since I do not have $$ I am saving for MD 5/16" spacer. I hope I feel difference after installation.

thanks
