and this thread can also be used to post mods that people think or feel like that have lost power, so that people can have an idea of whats going on with their aprts for real

You might feel a little loss of power due to heat soak. I have my z-tube down to my stillen airbox wrapped with heat tape. I also opened up a hole in the radiator support for fresh (outside) air to enter the intake. I never felt a loss of power.
Anybody who tells you that stock is the way to go isn't thinking straight. Just my .02

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
You say spacers. Did you buy more than 1? I have read where a lot of people have said almost the same thing. Opinions vary on the pop charger, but IMO either the 06 airbox with a drop-in filter or the Stillen airbox are superior. Sorry *****, JMHO.

Heat soak and the fact that you've removed the pressurization effects of the OEM intake setup. At temps over 70 degrees and at speeds below 30mph, your engine is ingesting 130 degree+ air where as the OEM setup is gulpling near ambient air. That right there is worth about a 10whp loss or more. Also, the OEM intake becomes naturally pressurized and at speeds over 60mph or so, it actually gains the motor a couple hp. Remove the ducts and you deaden throttle response (ie laggy performance below 3000rpms) and may loose some thrust as speeds increase. There have been people on this site that that have proven that the OEM setup performs better in all situations including the 1/4 mile and and dyno.
