KCR Exhaust review (X02)
It only really drones for me if I am trying to accelerate in too high of a gear. If you dont drive normally like how I do (highest possible gear to save gas) then I wouldn't imagine you having too much of a problem.
Install - $0 I did it with me and one other friend. Took awhile and took some fiddling around, but if you have the tools it shouldn't be bad. I had to do it on an incline driveway with only 2 jacks on the rear two wheels... made it real fun to do the y pipe but it was definitely doable

Just installed mine over the weekend. I had 2 issues, 1) the usual how the driver side was touching the body so the guy at the muffler shop heated it up and bent it down. 2) The pipe touches my rear stillen sway bar. The guy at the muffler shop said it would eventually wear away the paint on the sway bar which would result in clanging .... great.
When he heated up the pipe to bend it down, he told me how it might rust faster, because he said the exhaust was made of some "cheap metal". So he suggested that I could spray engine paint on it. Anyone else doing this? I'm going to take on the task of painting all the piping and welds(except the tips and canisters of course) with some engine paint this weekend. Probably just paint it silver. Anyone else have the problem with the exhaust touching the sway bar?

Why would you want to do that (paint)? The only areas subject to rust are the areas that are heated and/or welded. I can understand doing it there, but nowhere else.
The metal on the one I bought is excellent quality, as per my own mechanic, since it is stainless steel. So either you got a REALLY crummy copy, or your mechanic doesnt know what he is talking about. And I dont have problems with touching, even after installing resonators.
Can you post pics?

Mine wasn't too bad. My driver side exhaust tip was misaligned. Also, the passenger side pipe sits a little closer to the rear differential than I prefer. Other than that, not too bad.
Well I bought mine off another member on the forum. what is really odd is that it fit on his fine, and it was off on mine...
Well I'm going to put my front sway bar on and I'll take pics then when I have the car in the air. And I'll paint at least the part that got heated up.
