Just fujistubo Y-Pipe

hi i search around but finding results of people with y-pipe and exhaust combos.
Wondering if anyone has just the y-pipe, i found a cheap one(75) and just before i buy it i was wondering if it would have rasp just on its own.

im looking just to make stock exhaust note a little deeper/meaner, nothing drastic, dont really care for performance but would be added benefit.

Let me guess, you found the "Y" pipe in the ebay. I saw the same and I was wondering the exact some thing. I do not care for the gain but it will be nice to have a little better sound nothing fancy because I have babies in the car during the week, and I hope to lose few pounds by replacing the OEM "Y" pipe with an aftermarket.

Actually it was another member from the forum in my area. I asked him but of course he's going to say it was nice. He wantedto sell it and go back to stock because he got rasp from test pipes and full exhaust.

I picked it up and will get it installed next week and update you.

well i guess no one had an answer for me, but ill update everyone else.
Got it installed yesterday, just the Fujistubo Y-PIPE. The sound was exactly the same as stock, no difference. Performance nothing noticeable. But the power band throughout the entire RPM range has opened up, its just smoother power start to redline. Doesn't seem to struggle in lower RPMS as it did with stock Y-PIPE.

So after the install muffler shop told me i could remove the resonator to get a little more sound. I tried it out, definately what i was looking for. Nothing too loud, but i did get a bit of rasp, which may go away. Otherwise i will plan on putting the resonator back on. I made two really small clips

glad for the input. I was thinking of doing an HR y-pipe for increased loudness but the same tone...guess I wont be changing the Y-pipe..

Thanks for the update. I think this will work for me. Just the Y-pipe and nothing else.

Dont think the used 75$ Y-Pipe in my case would warrant a dyno. dyno probably costs twice as much. butt dyno didn't yeild any results so i wouldn't buy it if you looking for performance. I didn't notice any change with everything else being stock. if you get headers and exhaust might be different story.

otherwise update : still have the resonator deleted and still raspy, some people love the exotic noise some just completely hate it. if you interested in just the resonator delete i could probably post a better video later. let me know.

One pretty cheap exhaust i got was topspees pro 1. It sound baddd and its just catback. If you wanna check out one that sounds pretty good go look on youtube type in "g35 with full exhaust". HKS is gunna run you prob around 1300 or more if its brand new butt its dual all the way back.

Got a question. I i buy a y-pipe like megan racing will it make my engine light come on and if so will that take away some hp?

changing just a Y-pipe isn't going to change the sound very much at all... the most notable difference is the XYZ pipe from Motordyne.

Wow, $75 for the Fuji y-pipe is a steal.

yeah 75$ was a good deal. told me he had the full exhaust but sounded better with stock pipe.

sure there was something else to it, but it looked perfect one flex pipe looked weak but when installed there wasn't any leaks.
