I'm assuming you meant "can't". There's most likely nothing wrong with your car. That video was shot on a cool and dry 60 degree day on an older asphalt surface running newer all season Falken 215/55R17 tires. With my 18" wheels, sticky and 1.25" wider W-rated PZeros and 80 degree plus conditions, I can't get but maybe a few feet of spin before the car hooks. At the strip, it's usually a lot stickier. Usually my car barely chirps a tire on the launch.

Mike. Actually you're the 1st one to mention TBS (which has nothing to do with anything in this thread).

You're the 1st to take a crack at Dave for no reason.

And you're clearly discussing something OTHER than the oem g-tube. Why? Because it's you that wanted a confrontation. Dave didn't even mention TBS and had you pegged at post 40.

In fact, at post 41, you're the one that made a statement about Dave claiming he was trying to be "competitive" (in a thread about putting back the oem G-tube for christ sake)

Carry on – put your entire car back to stock, because you still haven’t figured out a way to make it fast enough to be competitive (no matter how much you try to convince yourself and others).
Did I really need to quote that? I guess the difference inbetween you and me is that I'll actually post the quote/proof.

Whatever you came into this thread for, it surely wasn't to add anything constructive.

Jeff, you sure loooovvvvve to beat a dead horse!

Here’s my first post:

And my response to Dave’s reply (my 2nd post):

I think you finally understand why I keep telling you to try it before you dismiss it.

*This isn’t to say that Tony's findings and opinions aren’t valid - I value Tony's expertise and opinions immensely... this is more about the concept of experiencing a mod before stating facts and opinion about it (which you have done to no end Dave).
Put your reading comprehension hat on and try to follow along with the logic behind its meaning… I would have been totally done after that 1 post had you and Dave not started the debate. Dave and I have been able to drop it, why are you insisting on stirring **** up???

The entire reason I stated this was to let Dave know that he experienced something very similar to what I did. That’s it.

I know you get bored Jeff and like to debate out here… but you need to find something other then me to be so fascinated by.

You reply would have been valid if that were your ONLY replies. But it wasn't. My reply has nothing to do with those quotes so there's no reason for you to bring that up.

If that's the case then why did you insist on mentioning the TBS, taking cracks at Dave trying to be "competitive" and in general started in with the insults? Being competitive has nothing to do with this G-tube. If it add no hp as he CLEARLY states, then it most likely won't subtract anything off his ET. Thus making your "competitive" cracks a moot point.

One thing that is clear is that you weren't just trying to illustrate his logic contradiction. As Redlude97 addressed that clearly and illustrated that your logic thought was incorrect.

Let's be clear, you're the one that wanted to take Dave's thread down this path. No one else mentioned anything outside what you already mentioned. You brought up every point of contention that everyone else asked you about. No one else.

AS far as debating, you have more replies into this thread than I. So ?

^^^ everything that you mentioned were in direct response to what you two posted... its real simple Jeff, if you don’t want the debate and the statements I make, simple don’t start the riff...

As I said, I would have been done after the first post… and would be done after Dave and I agreed to drop it.

You on the other hand don’t have the ability to drop it. You live for this.

I'm responding to two people, you are responding to one.

And now that Dave and I have agreed - its only you I'm responding to... and as soon as you stop your garble, I won’t need to respond at all.

Nope. If your original contentions were what you said, then you would have never mentioned Dave's other mods or your false assumption about him trying to be competitive. Otherwise you would have directly addressed your own quote in my reply(but you didn't)

You want off topic on the issue even as Dave was trying to stay on topic. He went out of his way NOT to specifically mention TBS. You did.

You can stop replying at anytime or is someone making you reply every time I reply? Another off topic discussion.

Okay and? Does that fact change how much time it takes to reply or somehow let's you post to each and every reply w/o being labeled as "living for this stuff?" That logic doesn't work. Why? Even if you take out your replies to Dave, you have at least as many replies as I do (as you have replied to most/all of my posts here). So it would clearly appear you are just as bored and like to debate just as much.

when and where did I ever say anything about Dave "trying to be" competitive?... Making a statement that he is not, does not in any manner imply that he is trying to be. You are a PITA - that is a statement, it does not imply in any way shape or form that you are trying to be – its just a fact… just like my comment of about non competative.

Every single issue that you continue to go on and on about were brought up after you & Dave turned it into a debate... your tactic here (and every other debate thread) is to go so far away from the crux of the issue to hopefully draw attention away from he fact that you are wrong.

I'll leave it at that.

Get with it Jeff... you aren’t very good at this.

Right, you go on and tell Dave he can't be competitive in a thread about an OEM G tube.

Tell what the logic is of telling someone they aren't competitive when they already know they aren't trying to be. (note that it DID become a point of contention after that statement was made). So I guess I wasn't the ONLY one that saw that. Not to mention that you instead directed your comments to how uncompetitive Dave was during your argument. Something again very off topic(but not off topic enough for you to mention it nor was it off topic enough to clarify how much more "competitive" you are vs him. LOL. yeah, you didn't want to get into that off topic discussion did ya?)

Oh look, here I am, forcing you to reply. My fault.

Maybe I'll just paraphrase your reply and save you the time:

"Jeff, I know what I meant by my replies but I wont' admit it". "I'll just keep deflecting blame to you even though you have absolutely no stake this at all". "Hell I even noticed you disagreed with Dave on this". "I'll stop posting now and wait for Dave to post another thread about clever mods and rip into him again on that one".

None of my replies were remotely off topic until you entered it and tried to use your off topic issues in an attempt to discredit Dave's logic. The only reason why there's so many off topic replies is your insistance at maintaining a false sense of logic.

But I see it's filtered down to personal insults now. The constructive input continues.
