Who's using JWT popcharger, Ztube w/ Stillen poly-u intake port?

After researching the pros and cons of available intake mods for the G, I narrowed my choice between JWT Pop Charger & Z tube and the Stillen Intake & Z tube. Ended up going with the JWT pop & z tube which has worked out great. However, the JWT heat shield included in the kit does not restrict the “hot air” from the engine compartment. This wasn’t a problem until I moved down south where air temps are over 100 degrees in summer. I’ve heard that the MAS will tell the ECU to retard performance if air temp increases. I’ve observed a loss in performance.
“Hot air” is not a problem for the OEM setup. Even, the Stillen polyurethane intake port should help restrict more “hot air”. But, what to do if you already have the JWT pop & Z tube? Well, Stillen will sell the polyurethane intake port separately for $130. I’m buying one.
Does anyone use a JWT pop, Z-tube and Stillen intake port setup?

Sell the JWT as a kit and buy the Stillen unit. You can probably get one used for that much and it would include their filter. IMHO, the JWT filter is longer than the stillen one and might not fit inside the stillen heat sheilding w/o cutting

I ran the JWT filter with the Stillen box for a while. No pics but it fit fine with no visible signs of rubbing. Changed it out for the oem revup box a while back or I would post some pictures.

If you really want to cut down on the intake temps, you're going to have to go back to the OEM setup. Even the Stillen CAI is open to the engine bay. It's not nearly as bad as the POP setup, but there are openings exposed to the underhood temps.
