i see alot of threads about different brand hfcs but none that really talked about which one sounds the best on an oem exhaust. could anyone help me out with this, which high flow cat sounds the best? berks,fast intentions,kinetix or crawfords.

I have Berk HFCs and had them with my stock exhaust and HR-Y pipe and absolutely loved the sound.

Sounded exactly like it should from factory. Now I have Fast Intentions Intimidator cat-back and the sound is still just as great! Let me know if you'd like to see a couple sound/video clips

 

The question makes little sense to me.

If, for example, you get 300 cell high flow cats from x manufacture, how would it sound any different than y manufacture?

I can't even tell any distinguishable differences between 400 cell and 300 cell high flow cats within the same company.

Anyhow, I recommend Berks, Fast Intentions, or Crawfords for our vehicles. This is based on quality of the product.

 

Yup plus there's a price difference between them with FI coming in at the top of the list. But they do look the prettiest since they're already polished

 

How much are you looking to spend?

 

love my crawfords made my tanabe sound a bit more nicer
