NA mod out...which headers? Tune?
Guys and been searching and deciding on what to do. I was close to going FI but decided all just do NA mods and some body mods instead. So far i have,
5/16 spacer, z-tube pop-charger, invidia q300 exhaust, MREV II. I want to continue with the NA modding by adding HFC's, Headers, and a Tune. Im pretty sure i want to get the Berk HFC's but am not sure about the headers or tune... Who makes the better product for tuning NA and getting the most gains Osiris, or Cobb not crazy about uni-chip. Also, which headers Kinetix, nismo, Megan, Alpha werks ETC.... Lower growl would be best if anyone knows... Finally, is there anything im missing like pullies, ETC... that also makes good powerfor NA? Any info would be great. I am trying to have about 300-310 WHP NA.. that would be awsome... Any sugguestions appreciated!

I would say Osiris for your tune, have heard lots of good stuff about them. I'm going to get mine tuned from uprev themselves in a couple of weeks. Berk HFC or FI HFC are good, I'm not too sure about the headers, just know they're a bitch to install

Why a different exhaust? I have the invidia q300 true duel cat back... And headers are only good with a tune I hear.. Also there is someone here with a hr motor that has all the above mods and he's making 315 whp.

Btw... How are the intake mods a waste? The mrev 2 alone makes 8-10 whp.... The intake isn't good for much except sound.... But the thermo-block spacer and 5/16 spacer crank it up 5-8 whp...

Wow... I feel very mislead. When. First got my car everyone said "get the mrev 2!!" and they say that headers are bad except with a tune... So your saying no on the headers? Wow... Kinda had my hopes up for those... Is there anything else to do NA... Besides Osiris??
First off, if you have an 07 it's an HR. So all of the intake mods you have listed are useless. Hi-flow cats are fine....I'd definantly pick a different exhaust....and no question Osiris for the tune. Just stick with your stock intake and boxes (swap to k&n filters). There are a lot of foobar dyno's for HR's out there, but you should be able to get near 285-290 with a well tuned car and those simple bolt-ons. As for headers.........waste of money. If you want to spend 1000-1500, swap in a 3.9 or 4.08 final drive and that thing will boogie.

I'll bite. In terms of 0-60 what kind of improvement is that going to produce in an '08 sedan?
Just the gears? Not huge in 0-60, but fairly significant overall.
That was quick. Thanks. Forgot to mention the car is an AT. Does that change the story?
Also if those other mods are made that you mentioned, what sort of performance improvement overall are you speaking of? Ie., again in 0-60 terms, 5% or?

Stick with the 3.9......bolt-ons/tune/fd (fd doesn't have anything to whp gains) should net you ~30whp and probably .5-.7 off your et in the 1/4. That is all HIGHLY speculative.
