I think I'm going to just bring the car to a muffler shop this Friday. This is what I don't get though. When it rains here and I drive my car, I don't hear a thing. That's one thing that stumps me.

Even if it were to add 10hp I would still not spend the cash.

I think what suicidesam was trying to say is, mod the car right or leave it alone. In other words, don't pay to downgrade. I don't think I've put a single part on my car that wasn't up to or exceeding the OEM part that was being replaced. And I'm not wealthy by any means, it's just that if I couldn't afford a particular upgrade, I'd just leave it stock rather than paying to put something worse on my car.

That being said, I have no problem with people buying the eBay knock-off, X02, Ark Grip or whatever it's being called these days. But I think you'll find if you bite the bullet and get the HKS, you WILL see where your money went, especially if you're coming from the knock off.

 

Update:

SO I found the noise at my work. I lifted up my car and noticed it was VERY slightly hitting the RAS. So I bent that a little bit and I managed to clear it. Thinking it was gone, I drove it. I heard the damn noise again. I winded up finding the damn noise in my drive way. It was coming from my engine bay.

I broke my bypass valve on my Nismo CAI. How the hell man. Its literally cracked halfway. I gotta buy a new bypass valve and convert it back to a short ram for the time being. Has this happened to anyone?

And btw..wth been going on with my post? $1500 for something that will make my car sound meaner? Don't get me wrong HKS is wayyyy better than XO2/KCR quality, but not many of us can afford parts like that. My XO2 hasn't rusted so far and nothing has broke that I know of *knocks on wood*.

I'll update once more if that was the main noise now. I hope its just that one part now.

Just remember my friend, don't look down upon people who doesn't use "authentic" items. If you are a balla, that is great, just don't put people down about the items they use. It doesn't make you look very well in a forum. There are people who drive GTR's and vipers here, yet you don't see them come in threads and say the infiniti's are ****ty cars and are "trying" to be a sports car like their cars.

I hope by now you got my sarcasm on my previous posts.
