5/16 spacer + MREV2 + tune

I currently have the spacer and am looking into possibly purchasing the MREV2 and getting it tuned right after. I have been reading the threads but I want to know if it is worth getting this MREV2 if I am planning to get it tuned right after the install. I have a nonrevup engine.
Thank you for your help.

MREV2 will net you a couple horses only on the non rev engines. I would invest that money elsewhere... like a cat back exhaust.

just my .02

Yeah, it seems like there's not much of a gain from the MREV2 on non-revup engines. Best to put the money somewhere else.

Skip the Mrev2 for your non-revup DE motor. I would suggest some nice HFC's or TP's to free up some ponies, apres tune.

What if you have a revup motor, 5/16" + MREV2 + tune?

(Not meant to thread jack)

Then you will see some good power... OP if you get a tune you can benefit from a MERV2

I gained 10whp/5wtq with the 5/16th + MREV2 on a non-revup with a mini tune (just fuel correction). I would assume with a full tune then the gains will be much higher.

Skip it and get some HFC and exhaust. Then tune. Unless you're just made of money in which case have at it!
But seriously the HP return on investment isn't worth it, IMO

^I would agree with him as well. If it's a debate between MREV2 and HFC/TP then the latter will be a much better choice.

Thank you all for the input. I have the stillen cat back so I think I will go with the HFC's and tune after. What other bolt on's are worth the money?

Do you have any other mods besides the stillen cat-back and the 5/16" spacer?

Add in a Z-tube, get your HFC, tune, and call it a day. Nothing else is really going to be worth the money. Look up Osiris by Uprev for your tune; if there's a pro-tuner nearby you thats definitely the way to go.
