There are a bunch of sound clips here, including just the HKS muffler: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...mpilation.html

That's why I am going to go this route. It's a little louder than stock, but at 47 I don't want to sound like a race car moving down the street. The HKS gives a deep, melodic tone to the exhaust and IMO it sounds better than stock with just a little more volume. I've read threads on here where people have taken it off because it's too quiet. I think for me it's perfect.

I believe they're a little different. Some 03-04 peeps here have switched their's out for a different sound.

HKS is 47-year-old approved (take it from this one, LOL!)

03-04 middy is a freakin big suitcase, 05-06 are considerably smaller, but the muffler is a bit bigger.

If you don't want it any louder than it is now, DEF. DO NOT get the HKS.
I sold mine cause I guess i'm an old man and don't like the drone on the highway. I'm going to get the Motordyne VQ exhaust when it comes out with a dual tip muffler (COMING SOON according to the motordyne thread). That is supposedly does not have any drone at all.
