HKS Sport or HFC's

I have a quick question for everybody. I'm picking up a set of coupe Rays and a coupe midpipe tomorrow and have about $400 left in my budget for one more mod.

If you were in my shoes would you get the HKS Sport muffler or HFC's?

Post up your recommendations.

Is your exhaust stock now? I have the Borla Cat Back on my coupe and recently installed Berk HFC's on mine and now have drone 1600-2K RPM's....I am a 5AT so if you are a 6MT it may not be as bad...just a heads up!

For clarification my exhaust has an HR y-pipe and stock everywhere else. I'm also a 5AT sedan.

Personally, I'd get the HKS, but I'm addicted to that sound. I might get HFC's down the road, but I'd also get a tune after that, so $400 HFC's becomes a $1000+ mod.

Go with the HKS. The HR Y-Pipe, 05-06 middy and HKS is a sweet combo (exact setup I'm running). I've seriously considered HFCs lately because I'd like to eek out a bit more power and add little more sound, but like Buckeye I'd want to get a tune too, so it would cost me much more than just the HFCs.

Depends on what your going for. I've been down both roads. If I were to do it again i would get the HFC first. It will deepen the exhaust note and amplify it plus you will get A LOT more performance from it.

I've got an 06 sedan 5AT with HKS rear, HR y pipe and have HFC's. Well I ordered HFCs from Berk but they sent me the wrong ones (for VQ35HR) so I have to wait another month to sort out and get my HFC's on Can't wait though - the quality on Berks is excellent!

Nice. Does anyone have a sound clip of it on a otherwise stock exhaust system??

I just googled it and love the looks of the can, but i don't want my car to be any louder than it is now. No offense to anyone here, but I am just not a fan of a loud exhaust on automatic vehicles.
