Fujita Question...
I swear i searched and im sure someone else will be able to find it...BUT
I just installed a Fujita short ram sounds awesome with the exception of about 10% to 30% throttle there is a high pitch almost whistle sound. Doesn't do it at WOT or high rpms....![Confused2](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/confused2.gif)
I found it to be an issue on some other model cars through googleresearch but nothing came up with the G's. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem and had a fix; possibly changing to a different filter..? Im not sure...
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Would this be why the pop charger/z tube combo seems to take the popularity over short rams and CAIs?

All cone intakes will give you that whistle. From what I heard the popcharger/ztube combo is actually famous for the whistle.
I actually have the fujita myself. And the whistle/whine can be very annoying or godlike at times. All depends on how open your throttle flap is and for how long. I.e. if you have it open at 10% for long it sounds like an annoying version of a suparcharger whine. If you quickly hit the throttle and release it, it will sound like a wannabe blow-off valve.. Which can be pretty cool at times.
I've had the intake installed for over a year now and I got used to the sound, and to people asking me if I have my car turbo'd..

HA I just wanted to make sure it was a normal noise and now that I know that, I would have to agree its a fun little whistle especially when combined with the exhaust sound!!
