Electronic Exhaust cut-outs

I'm looking into getting the electronic exhaust cutouts. Does anyone have any experience with these? Wut are the pluses and minuses of having them? Any leaking probs? Or ways of preventing them? Other later created issues?Cut out size? Good companys? Good investment? Bad waste of money? Any useful info would be appreciated

I assume that even with those you would be able to turn them off (separate switch or something).
