coupe midpipe confusion

i am kinda confused on how the coupe midpipe fits the sedans. ive read that there is no modifications needed other than the heatsheild. but when people run the coupe midpipe are they still keeping the stock muffler or no? i dont see how it would line up becuase the coupe and sedans exhaust are very different

They line up fine, it's a simple bolt on between your Y-pipe and stock muffler. Trust me.

Yup... been there done that, as have MANY others.
The mid section is common for both, only the rear section is different.

No modifications needed here. I have an 05 sedan, and the CM didn't bang on the heatshield at all.

Mine hit the heatshield, but I just bent it about 1/4" and it never touched again.
