Do you want acceleration or top end? Get an ECU reflash like the Osiris. Dyno tune it now or wait until you have all the bolt ons you want and then tune it. Either way, your car will be making more power than without the reflash.

First thing is you should do a search

But honestly if you want to make power you need to go FORCED INDUCTION! When you add on N/A mods it barely does anything for the VQ motor, save up and get a nice turbo kit or a supercharger for your G35 and you'll be much happier. I'm currently still saving up for my turbo kit, hopefully by next winter that'll be my project

First thing to do is analyze your driving habits, rpm, load, mph, and then do research on the various components that will give you the bang for the buck in the areas you want more power. For example various cold air intakes can be great for the track and maybe a negative for the street. The same goes for various exhaust systems. You need to match the mod to your driving habits not just the raw number claims you may see.

A mod may give you 10 hp but may do so at 5000 rpm and give you less hp than stock where you drive the most.

In the old days often the quick answer was if you want more low end power you change your rear end ratio, if you want more high end power you change your rear end ratio. If you wanted it in both places you tossed out the rear seat and spare tire.

True, learning your car and how to push it to it's limits helps a lot here. If you don't know how to drive your car, then no mods will help make it much faster than it already is.

The point was not to learn to drive your car, it was to learn exactly how you drive it, what part of the rpm range you are normally in, etc. and then to pick your mods accordingly.
