Tony,
For the first link and the dyno where it compares only the MREV2 with baseline, is this against a non-REVUP lower?
The results seems a little awkward
Baseline : 258.3/253.1
Spacer+Mrev2: 271.5/257.2
Mrev2: 272.3/260.5
Seems like the Spacer made the car lose power. Am i reading this wrong?

Everything shown in that test is what happened on the non-revup engine. It was however lean at the time of the first set of linked tests. This may of had something to do with it.
And when you have a REVUP engine, doing both will make additional top end.

I can't wait to get my MREV, Spacer, and Shockwave.
Still got some time before I can afford it all, but I'll have the Shockwave in the next month or so....*STOKED*

wow, i didnt know that the mrev2 + spacers made less hp/tq on a non rev compared to just using the mrev2... is this bc the stock ecu wasnt able to adjust the a/f ratio correctly? So if it was tuned would the mrev2 + spacers make more vs the mrev2 on a non revup motor???

It may have been related to his car base lining in the lean condition. A/F ~14.
As shown in the thread discussions it did a lot better once properly tuned.
I do suggest reading the details in both links. He (Mike) tested it both ways.

+1 for Tony and his MD Products!
He's a great guy and willing to give each person the time needed to get all the info needed! I just talked to Tony today and he's an A+ guy.
In other news - what ever happened with the OP's results? Did he run the tests?

Thanks Morovasa!
Gabe's engine build is nearing completion.
http://my350z.com/forum/na-builds/45...argarge-5.html
Once that is done he will give it ~1K mi break in and then dyno.
There is also another independent dyno coming up soon too. Its being conducted by the Admin of MY350Z.COM.
Details will be posted shortly.

It's finally about to get completed. The engine will be in the car no later then Wednesday and I should get the car in my possession the following day. That's for the break in until we can give it a full tune after 1000 miles. It's then that I will be able to make the plenum test.
It's been a long wait and I hope it's all worth it.

BTW, when you did these runs, how did you maintain your control group? Were they all on the same dyno, in the same conditions? If it was the same dyno (such as Dynojet), did you keep the car in place the entire time with the straps not removed?
