I'm picking up my Borla headers, catback exhaust and a set of stillen test pipes as a package deal this weekend and I'm wondering if I can get some input from people about the test pipes. Should I or should I not use them? I heard u get pretty good gains from them. Any downfalls to them other than the whole emissions bs? Speaking of...has anyone recieved a check engine light after installing them and/or had problems passing emissions with them on afterwards? Wut do I do about the light if I get one? Would I be better off Just using stock cats until I can stack up for the high flow cats? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to get a feel for what I'm gettig myself into.

 

yo man dont get test pipes they sound like **** and also the fumes are horrible go with some hfc and ull be golden

 

Are the stillen test pipes nonresonated? If so they will sound like sht. You will get a lot of rasp.

 

wait for them Motordyne test pipes. They should be out...already...damn, why aren't they out yet??!! haha

get hfc's IMO (I have stillen hfc's) also make sure you get a tune after
