So I've had my car for about two weeks now and put gas in twice. First time I used sunoco 92 octane and yesterday I used Hess 93 octane. Last night when the car was running I went to the trunk and noticed there was some type of smell comming from the exhaust. First time it smelled kind of like rotten eggs but with a sweet scent. This morning turned the car in and let it warm up and the smells still there but more on the sweet smell side. Haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary with exhaust smoke. Its cold here in NY so everyones exhaust smokes. No thick lingering cloud. I bought the car from a Infiniti dealer with a extended elite warranty. Has anyone had any experience with this. Could it be from switching gas? Should I panic and take it to Infiniti? Anything I could check, look for? Thanks in advance!

if you hit the gas really hard before you smelled it, it could just be the catalytic converter..- which would be normal.. but i dunno

 

Can you post a clip of the smell? ...... no wait.....
