2006 350z airbox

Sorry if this has been covered and if so please direct me to a link but there is a guy selling a 06 350z airbox and I just checked my car an they are different.

Now for my question is this still a direct bolt in and if not can the back part of the 350z airbox connect to the front part of a g35 airbox. Or will I just have to get a airbox from a 05+ 6speed g35

btw I have a 05 auto

The 350Z Air Box is different.. i think someone took the air horn off of one and riveted it to the G AirBox.. just seems like a lot of work.

Go with the 06 (rev-up) air box from a G... the back half only... and you're good to go bro!

Been running mine with along with the HR Y-pipe and an AMSOil drop in filter for over a year.. love it!

Had the Z-Tube for a while, but i went back to OEM... didn't need the intake WHOOP-WHOOP at WOT.. personal preferance.

I have an 04x sedan with an 06 middy... coupled with all this front end stuff.. it has a sweet sound to it.. and it's all OEM!

The Z airbox is one piece and shaped diff. G is 2 pcs (obvisouly).

You CAN just drill out the rivets and unbolt the Z v-stack and put it into the G airbox. It's what I did. But only because I bought a Z airbox for so cheap and the conversion was so easy

^ Yup

I had a Z airbox, we drilled out the rivets on both boxes and just re bolted the maf, which held the V-Stack in.

If you can get a broken Z airbox with the right stack, that would be ideal as it's basicly worthless to most people. A boneyard might part out a broken one for cheap?

yeah that would be great, the only problem is I've never seen a 350z or g35 at a junkyard in my area

If you know of one shoot me a price shipped to 19120

Was this worth it? Did you see the benefit of the velocity stack?

Yeah, I thought the response was a bit sharper in the low end. And or us auto guys, any improvement down low is golden to us. There's no down side, just upside.

I noticed nothing from it.

I have a revup air box (with the "longer" "velocity stack") for sale if anyone is interested...

why would I blow smoke up someones @ss to sell a $60 part?...

It was a waste of $80 when I bought it, I used it for one week and took it off - but if someone is convinced that it is worth it, I have one for sale...

If my intent was solely to sell the thing, it would have been posted in the marketplace months ago - but instead it sits in the garage useless.

Is that clear enough Jeff?

It's clear that you've been trying to sell this thing for months. If you would have put in the classifieds, it would sell promptly.

BTW. I never needed clarification Mike. Not sure why you feel you have to explain something I'm already aware of.

The clarification is to show how wrong you are Jeff (as usual)... the ONLY time I ever mention its for sale is when I mention how worthless it is to me...

So no, I haven't been trying to sell of for months - I've been saying its worthless for months... if I wanted it sold it would be in the marketplace... but I'm not shady so I don't try to sell something I wouldn't put on my own car without saying I'd never use it. I realize there are people (apparently you're one) that would say this thing is great, I happen to have one... I don't do **** like that.
