Stock Airbox

On the stock air box you can take off that front piece, How many of you guys roll with the front cover thing off?

Not a smart idea. The box holds the filter firmly in place and you run the risk of having the filter come loose or come completely off. If that happens and you get **** in your engine you're screwed.

And it just becomes another HOT AIR INTAKE.

he might mean the air duct (snorkel)...

however, that too would induce hot air... no worse that uncovered cone filters that many people run though...

The power duct, w/e that clips in.

hmm I rolled with out it for a bit, might put it back on meh.
