Advanced Resonance Tuning (ART Pipes)

darn. i love your products and was really hoping for this. this is a big bummer.
tony, would you be able to confirm if the single XYZ accessory CAT would be able to handle all the emissions/fumes? as in... still being able to pass Smog test?
also, would you be able to describe the change in sound in more depth? i am kind of confused about it being quieter than HFC?.. but deeper?.. almost infrasonic (wont be able to hear it)?
considering i have the Shockwave, how would these attributes change the sound of my setup?

When I switch from the test pipes to the ART pipes it makes a big difference on the sound. Its much quieter with the ART pipes.
The very low frequency harmonic is at a low level but its definetly there and unusually deep. I'm sure a internet sound clip won't be able to capture it.

LoL. MD FTW!

THE LONG AWAITED TEST PIPES!!!
2 questions Tony...
1) Discount for independant dyno testing?
As you know I have Kinetix HFC and the XYX + resonator +VQ resonated MP.
2) Can you make some with a bung welded in for wideband?
Why do the dynoplots your show have that large peak around 2000 rpms? You always use a much different dyno graph than typically shown.

Great design -- SO many options
Hydrazine, I'm a little overwhelmed & amazed considering all combinations available with MD exhausts.
Before I the ART pipes, I settled on the Shockwave TDX V2, since drone was no longer an issue in 5AT's.
But now, I'm thinking ART pipes, Shockwave (V1) with XYZ CAT.
My question is how would these setups compare in sound & performance?
I do realize I'll have to wait for dynos & sound clips but more explanation from you would be appreciated.
Thanks

2) No, but if you want extra bungs its easy enough for a local shop to add.
They show a large peak relative to test pipes because test pipes lose a lot at that point.
The dyno plots I like to use are A minus B plots. This method of plotting shows the deltas in VASTLY greater detail and clarity.
The traditional dyno plot may work for showing absolute peak values but they leave the viewer pulling out a ruler and pencil to figure out the deltas at various RPM's. And mod performance is important over the whole curve, not just at the power peaks.
