Tony, do you know if there is a dyno before and after ART Pipes, on a completely stock G35 (preferably a revup one)?

Thanks,

There is no such thing as a CARB legal, after market, catalytic converter.

Stock cats are the only legal part in that position.

he was talking about turbo though...

Jim Wolf got real gawd damn close!...

No one here knows the BS CARB will put you through better than me (well maybe there are some, but not many)...

I think what Marc (SDGenious) meant was - if you can come up was a CARB certified Single or Twin Turbo kit for the G35 - you will be the GOD of all time and have so much money that you could pay someone to wipe your @ss with $100 dollar bills!

I'd wash your car if you made a kit -

UPDATE:

The ART pipes are now back in stock. This latest revision of ART pipes now has the greates amount of transmission clearance possible.

We didn't have a automatic or AWD to test fit them on so we can't confirm just yet that it is compatible with with either but now is the time to test it.

If you have a automatic or AWD please contact us before purchasing. Once the fitment results are known everything will be posted here.

Yes.

And there is a 100% money back guarantee. If there is any problem with Automatic or AWD fitment, return them (unused) and we will refund it completely.

It will be really quick to find out what fitment will be.

Tony

Met up and shot the breeze with Tony today. Always interesting & fun to talk about modding the G35 with a man who designs & tests out applications for our cars. Think I may have begged for a job for my sedan to be used as a guinea pig at one point

I came to swap out my previously purchased ART pipes V2.0 (that unfortunately did not fit on my 5AT) for the newly released ART pipes V2.1 (redesigned for an extra 3/8" clearance on the passenger side for the 5AT's - Tony correct me if I'm wrong here).

Here is a very quick picture of the newly designed ART V2.1 pipes (better pics with 36% less blurriness to come tomorrow). Note the new vibration dampeners welded onto the resonator chambers. The dampeners are designed to make it a little more quiet at low RPM & connects to the catalytic converter brace. Eat that, FART pipes

The plan was to run to my shop later in the day to install these ART V2.1's and have pictures taken of the 5AT fitment to share for the rest of my 5AT brethren. Alas the shop was backed up so we didn't get a chance to get the sedan up on the rack. We rescheduled for tomorrow. Stay tuned for installed pics on my sedan tomorrow - I've been feenin' for these since early summer and have been missing the extra ooooomph the ARTs always seemed to deliver.

^ I'll tell you, once you taste the sweet sweet nectar that is the torque and rumble of the ART's you'll never want to not feel & hear it anymore.

Wait, wut? Yeah, that made sense on a second reading

So Is the bracket needed now? I don't think many people still have it because most hfc/test pipes require it removed
