Question for the pros and people that have tried this at some point in time....

If I went to an exhaust shop and told them to just remove the exhaust and the cat converter off of a 04 G35 and straight pipe it from the mid pipe all the way back.......

1) How would the car sound
2) Would I have any backfire occuring
3) Is this smart?

I am looking to have a super loud (American Le Mans type sounding) exhaust.

Any ideas?
Anyones thoughts on Magnaflow or what the best exhaust their is for my desire?

Any opinions about exhausts on E-Bay?

Loud doesn't make you fast... butt dyno will say you are. Might as well take off your exhaust and run without it.

 

Not interested in going fast because dumb & fast don't mix, but I do want to be hurd!!!

P.S. I am happy with 300HP, that's all that this idiot box needs but thanks for the reply

 

If you want loud, then you should look into the RS*R Exmag GT II Exhaust, or the TopSpeed Pro N1 Exhaust, or the Invidia N1 Exhaust.
