Ok im getting my 07 G35 Coupe next month.
Im not trying to make the car go fast or anything.
But i love the dam sexy sound of the stock Infiniti engine.
So im trying to make the engine LOUDER...

Any suggestion what kind of CAI i can do to make it loud? and Exhaust?

Note: I don't want my car to sound like them ricer cars if you kno what i mean.

Plenum Spacer, Ztube, and High Flow Cats will amplify the stock sound. Nismo exhaust sounds pretty close to stock.

yes it makes it louder.. it basically amplifies it. IMO I would got with resonated test pipes and HKS(FTMFW)exhaust.

Welcome hope you get your G35 as planned....=^)

JDM, you cannot listen to members from the right coast! What they do doesn't apply to us here in CA., we have laws against removing the cats and if you're caught your G35 could be impounded. Sadly, even HFC's are not allowed here either. To increase the sound of your new ride MotorDynes spacer is well worth the increase in HP and sound. Getting a CAI and Z-Tube will allow your G to breathe more freely and increase the sound even further. Buying an aftermarket cat-back exhaust system will complete the cycle and give you almost normal sound at idle but anything above 2500 RPMs will put a smile on your face. This doesn't help gas mileage cause it's too much fun to play with....our sponsors like Riverside Infiniti can supply you with all the items mentioned here 800-919-8130. Oh, we don't put "Fart Cannons" on our G35s so you won't hear anything that sounds like rice....

hey I'm from the bay and have a 07 G. I use to have a mrev2, 1/2 spacer, z-tube, strup headers and a nismo exhaust. Sounds like a stock G on steroids. My car is turbo'd now though .. you can come by and check out my car if you want.

You can get two Random Technology HFC's and a Z-Tube is your best bet for ampliying the sound. You can't really judge the sound by YouTube.
