Quite an exhaust

Is there anyway you can quite down an exhaust. I got the X02 for REALLY cheap but its kind of loud. I love the deepness of it but I am thinking on switching back to stock. Maybe I should have just looked over the price and went with another exhaust. Any suggestions?

Thanks guys.

I hear a lot of great things about the VQ exhaust by Motordyne.

I felt the same way when I first got my FI exhaust but now I'm used to it and I love the sound. How long have you had it on?

For 10 hours! haha. It's my first exhaust ever, maybe I just do not know how its supposed to sound. I read a bit about adding a Magnaflow X Pipe. Does anyone have any "recent" reviews/soundclips. All the ones I tried were out dated.

I installed a Magnaflow x-pipe and it did quiet it down but I have test pipes. If you have the stock cats, it should be even quieter with the x-pipe.

It is quieter now than it was with the stock cats. Go to performancepeddler.com and get it for $77 shipped. Part number 11385 unpolished or 14385 polished.

This is my dyno at WOT a couple of months ago.

Let us know how it goes.

Just make sure you install the muffler in place of the x02 h-pipe. The x02 h-pipe is almost useless.

Also, are there better tips that you know of? I HATE how you can see the 3 holes on both sides and a nut and bolt sticking out of the side!

I used OEM 350z tips and it looked great. Try to find a 350z muffler for free or cheap. The G35 tips are a tad too long so I used 350z tips which are shorter.

I sold this exhaust a while back and got a new one cause I missed it.
