Muffler, pipes question. I'm dead confused guys

Ok guys I am dead confused. I have 2 options:
option 1 - delete muffler and add straight pipes
option 2 - delete muffler and dont add straight pipes
...questions is, whats the difference in sound? what should i do? advantages and disadvantages? how much power do i lose when i delete the muffler? please help!

i wouldn't go with option 1, it would probably not sound too good

if anything i'd do option 3 which is keep the mufflers but buy a new y pipe and mid pipe.

but ideally if you can buy a new or used system you'd probably be much happier.
what sorta vehicle do you have?

Performance wise, there are a lot more options than what you mentioned. Do some research, you'd be surprised with what's available.

Yeah... straight pipe all the way would be neat at first... but will get annoying after. That's like hella loud.
