Actually it sounded pretty good for a muffler delete. With this you really need to have cats and resonator or it will rasp. It was just too loud for daily use, but I had it made for autocross (weight reduction).

Here are a few pics. As I said, they are not as good as Mix's. I had them fab it so I could remove\install easily. Flame suit on ...

I had a system similar to that when i first got my setup.. I was only getting exhaust smoke coming from one side...Did you notice that as well?

BTW, people claiming "fart can" "rice" "stupid"... I went to a meet and everyone thought I was running a Greddy exhaust. . . I'll record new clips later this week

No there was flow to both sides, but of course one had more than the other. The throttle response was better and it seemed like there was better pick-up on the top end (although minimal). Do you have cats and resonator with your setup?

Yeah, I was sceptical at first but I was very surprised how good it sounds (just too loud for the family suburbs). Everyone thought I was running a good aftermarket exhaust. You should have seen their faces when I told them it was a muffler delete !

Please post some vids for everybody. I should have made some while I had it on.

Yea' I the same issue and made the shop change it to a more "Y" setup. I actually had to have the flanges cut off in order to have the "Y" setup.. I don't mind since I know locals are always giving up their full oem exhaust for free/cheap. At first I was running an aftermarket Y, HFC's, resonator, and muffler delete.. The cats were annoyingly loud/raspy, so i took them off. Now I have the same setup but with oem cats.. I'll throw a video soon.. I love the sound but i'm tiring of the in-cabin drone..

you should have made the pipe to the left tip come down immediately right below the hanger instead of having to go back and forth.

If you want marginally louder then stock and still keep the distinct sound. Find some1 with a Nismo Z and just swap the rear portion of the exhaust. A bit deeper then the stock muffler and no fumes. Plus the larger 5" tips fill the cutouts way nicer.
