Question FI Resonated Cat Pipes

Resonated Test Pipes meets High Flow Cats. It does not get any better than this! These will increase torque and power throughout the entire RPM range. They are a direct replacement of your stock catalytic converters with no cutting or welding required. They will increase sound volume and depth. The 2.5" perforated core resonator located in the bottom of the test pipe will help eliminate rasp and cut down on interior noise resonance, also known as drone.
Has anyone tried these yet? I wouldn't be surprised if they were QUIETER than stock?

the ART test pipes are TEST PIPES. I'm looking for HFCs that dont have ANY rasp and are silent. I think these are perfect. Plus Helmholtz resonators are snake oil -- but please dont turn this thread into a debate about that.

ART test pipes are a revolutionary design that help eliminate rasp and drone, but still produce test pipe power

however, the fact of the matter is, they're still catless. I'm looking for HFCs. Maybe if the art pipes had 400cell metallic core cats incorporated i'd be interested..

That is inevitable.

What is your main reason(s) for wanting to go with HFC over test pipes? Just curious.

P.S. Any links to these new F.I. pipes?

I dont know if i read it wrong but are those resonated HFC? lol....thats the dumbest thing i have ever heard imo. i have FI resonated test pipes which make my FI intimidator exhaust sound real mean. lets just say some people say my car sounds like a beast and they love it....if you really dont want test pipes (im assuming for emissions test purposes) just get and HFC really. They are hardly louder than the stock cats. Do you have an aftermarket exhaust or headers too? you gotta give more info for us to help you in depth.

Any HFC will work if you have stock exhaust. They will just deepen the tone and make it slightly louder.

Or you can be the first to try out these cats and let us know.

we actually dont have emissions laws in alberta.. the main reason i'm doing it is for noise and so i never have to smell any unburnt gasses. the resonator is because i think that loud cars sound very cheap, and i think every time to remove a resonator it just makes the car sound closer and closer to a riced out honda. i'm turning 25 next month and I'm getting a little old for that. I want to run these Resonated Cat Pipes with the 350z hr y-pipe into the fujitsubo exhaust.

i think the resonated HFCs will work fine
but i've been told from the guy who sells me parts that no one has ever complained about the way the FI hfc's made the car sound.

but resonated hfc's would still be better than stock

i'm not sure if it was MY hfcs or not, but after installation i could smell the car more than with my stock cats

it could have been still breaking them in? even with 100CPSI cats it would hard to smell unconverted gasses unless they are broken and there are chunks missing allowing large holes etc.
