AEM CAI vs. Injen CAI SP series?

Hey, thinking about grabbing a cold air intake for the 04 coupe 6MT...I'm contemplating between the AEM CAI or the Injen CAI SP series...i know that if i go with any other CAI it would through off the mass air flow sensor...which intake is better overall...pros and cons? or should I stick to my original plan which was Stillen intake with JWT popcharger and forget about the CAI for now...??

I have the Injen CAI and it sounds great. It was a bit of pain to install, but well worth the trouble. Here's some pictures i took during install... It requires removal of front bumper and have to cut the Foam piece a bit to make room for the intake second picture.

I have the Injen CAI, I like it. Don't think you could go wrong on either one. I had Injen on my Altima SE-R so I went with them for my G. Loved the quality and fit.

i have the injen cai and i love it, makes the g sound so much more aggressive especially after 4500 rpms. i dont know how you feel about the whistle, but it whistles a lot during normal acceleration and like i said, makes the a big noticable difference in exhaust tone at WOT.

Not sure why you guys want to risk putting your filter way down there for no benefit at all. I haven't read any dynos that suggest these make power. don't some of these actually lose power?

the injen cai gives about a 6.5+ HP on the coupe and about 10 HP on the sedans...it doesnt lose power...

i didnt get it from a makers website...you cant believe the **** that goes on it...it was from a dyno that my friend had done on his 05 coupe...but he also did a fuel injection upgrade...that would have helped...i think...b/cus with more air/cooler air going in there isnt a balance between the fuel and air..so u would have to upgrade fuel injection too...

A fuel injection upgrade? This is going to go well, I can tell.

^LOL

in all seriousness they do claim from dyno about 9hp i think, but then again there dyno is different from others, on a mustang 4 post dyno you are probably looking at gains of about 3-4 whp, with a tune probably 5-6 at best also bumper is a factor, if you don't have a good opening for the air to be sucked in, its not gonna do much

its not that much of a difference to feel with your "butt dyno", it only feels like you are going faster cause the sound it makes at 4500+rpm(more aggressive)

to me intakes are purely cosmetic

a fuel injection upgrade is replacing the fuel injectors on the fuel rail where the injectors can pump atomized fuel under higher pressure than OEM ones...how its done..what aftermarket injectors to use..i dont know...but to my understanding thats what it is...correct me if im wrong..
