Fast Intentions Carbon Fiber catback outside ride-along video

Finally got around to putting together a video/sound clip. I wanted to give everyone an better idea of what the exhaust sounds like in driving conditions, as opposed to simply recording the car reving in the driveway. My first attempt at making a video, comments are welcome.

that sounds really good. would u say its much louder then stock exhaust? I'm buying exhaust for my 06 coupe and I'm so stuck on what to buy. I didn't want anything to sound ricey or like I put coffee cans on my G. I was thinking about the nismo catback or hks hi flow. and your exhaust too..it sounds good. and what kinda of power gains did u receive?

Thanks for the comments, guys. The Fast Int Carbon fiber catback, as you can tell from the video, a very low note. Not ricey at all. It's a little bit louder than stock from 1000-3000 rpms, but really comes to life after that. I love dropping a gear while throttling thru tunnels and hearing the note echo

Sounds great. Any reason why you're switching to Ark?

Getting some droning at low rpms. It's a low hum/resonance, mainly when accelerating from a roll, or navigating thru a parking lot. After the first 1000 miles, sounds fine to me. BUT, my wife is still nagging me about it. Since we only have one car in the family, I gotta make some sacrifices. At least she doesn't nag me about (or not allow) modding like some of my buddies' wives. I did a lot of research before getting the Fast Intentions (on Driver and my350z). Most people say girlfriends/wives don't mind it, my wife... I paid good money for the FI, I love the tone, and I hate to give it up. We can't afford another car right now, so I'll give Ark (the new kid on the block) a try and see how that goes and hopfully provide some feedback to help the G/Z community.

Sound really nice!! Did you have any HFC/TP on? Did you feel any performence gain? Sorry to hear you had to give it up.

Everything is stock. As with most aftermarket exhausts, the improved air flow helps with the top end of the rpm band, so start up is a bit slower (than stock) but once the rpms get up, there is a definate kick.
