What is better stillen or jwt pop charger with z tube?
could be wrong, but I thought they were similar with the exeption of JWT's concave style filter on the front part.
I honestly cant even hear my z-tube. That was only the first 2 days. I would recommend Stillen because it is fully enclosed from heat.
I have heard from a few locals that they felt they lost power with the jwt in the summer. One even said his car was sputtering.

I live in Vegas Heat too so its def one of the hottest summers thats forsure!
I concur with many of the above posters. I don't know much about cars either, but I went with the upgraded Stillen intake, the 5/16s isothermal spacer from MD, and I have a Z tube. It definitely added a lot more bark- but whether or not it added more "bite?" Hard to say because I don't have the figures from those days. I remember the first time I stomped on it after the install I was REALLY impressed by the authoritative growl... but was somewhat neutral about the actual performance gain.
It wasn't until I upgraded the back half (HFC and catback exhaust) and got a tuner and some time on the Dyno that the car really came alive.

The best mod you can do for the $ is MotorDynes 5/16" spacer ISO. The combination of z-tube and K&N filter will increase the needed air volume in your plenum. The spacer/intake will give you HP you can feel and a very, very cool sound. Stay away from pop chargers unless you're after looks and not performance.

It will increase the performance as much as the spacer does but then you have to subtract the loss of power due to the cai. Do more searching and you will see intakes on these cars are for nothing more than sound and bling.
