Midpipe install. bolt-on???

I tried a search and didn't see a DIY install.
I am in the market for a coupe mid-pipe and was wondering if a shop needed to do it, or if it's a driveway job. From the looks of it, I think it's just a few bolts. Am I right?

Thanks

Direct bolt on replacement - no issues at all. If you do a search, a goodly number of people have already done this themselves. I'm sure a PM to any one of them will give you some helpful hints (unbolt old mid-pipe, replace with new mid-pipe, rinse, repeat ;-)

It is a driveway job. You'll have to jack up your car at all corners though. But with a lift at a shop, you can do it in 15 minutes or less. The shop shouldn't charge you for an hour unless it's their minimum labor...30 minutes MAX at a shop.

There are just 2 bolts per flange at the output and input.

I have one available still if anyone is interested.

Re: Midpipe install. bolt-on???

I replaced my whole exhaust with just a set of Rhino Ramps under the rears. It's not too tough. The hardest part is getting the hangers out of the rubber bushings, but that just takes WD-40 and patience. A good metric socket set and box end wrenches will be pretty handy too.

$235 + shipping for a brand new Coupe midpipe from www.PerformanceNissanParts.com. It's well worth it!!! ;-)
