Its not having a sedan that makes you have dual intakes.. its having the HR motor. If you want to try and fight back to someone who is flaming you for breaking the rules, maybe search for the right info to fight back with.

^ while ill agree the delivery was not good. The message stays.

The number one rule of any forum is to search for the answer. If you can't find it after looking for 5 min then You can make a post.

If you would have searched you would of had the Info and have a better understanding of it in the fraction of the time.

Now I hope you think twice before clicking" new thread"

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Boys, boys be nice.

All I'll say is I have the R2c and have been very happy with it. It's the 4th intake I've tried and I've had it on for about a year.

All CAI will make you lose power, its all for sound and not for power

If you want a minor increase in power, get a REVUP Airbox + 350Z Ztube + Apexi Air Filter

Also, to the mods, I do realize this topic is started every week, but why don't we create a sticky at the top to make sure this is covered.

Another idea that I mentioned on the site suggestions would be to populate a list of existing threads when someone is typing the title of the thread they are creating, which in turn might make them click on the existing threads and not create another one...

OP, might help if you posted what year your G35 was with which engine.

but the two intakes you listed aren't true CAI's and hydrolock won't happen.

Think about those "other forums" for just a sec. Now, you know that ONE question on every forum (regardless of context) that some n00b will ask, that's already been asked and answered 10,000 times before, so much to the point that it's either a joke among the long-time members, or stickied as a "DO NOT ASK THIS QUESTION" ???

Well guess what.... you just asked that question.

You could have easily found both the answer to your questions, as well as ample reason that asking said question was a bad idea, if you would have simply searched for two seconds or read the stickies.

You should also know that you can receive an infraction for rehashing questions that have been covered hundreds of times already.

Not trying to be mean or anything, this has just become a real problem on this site.
The time spend typing this up could've been spent answering his question.

No need to be a dick to the new guys.

^Actually, I couldn't have, because the OP didn't even ask in the correct area.

And I wasn't really being a dick until he started arguing with me.

I would actually consider this forum to be rather good. Have you posted this question on my350Z yet, since they have the same engines we've got. The best way to learn a lot about these cars is researching and lurking throughout the forum. I've written paragraphs before with details and recommendations concerning a CAI, not something I'm going to do with every intake thread that pops up.

I agree, but when the OP comes back with an attitude after being told how to find the answers and trying to argue with someone about a car he clearly knows nothing about, I'm with NFSP on this one.

Here's a few tid-bits for the OP:
*ram air setup
*CF/plastic tubing
(HINT) custom intake
