Better...for what? Sound? Power?

What will you be matching them up with? Stock or aftermarket exhaust?

If stock, neither will do much for power. The stock y-pipe is very restrictive. But if I had to choose one to go with the stock exhaust, I'd go with HFC - they'll sound better.

If you're going with a more free flowing aftermarket exhaust, test pipes. But to get the most out of this, you'll want a tune. Keep in mind this'll be much louder.

im going for sound tho and got an stock exhaust.
I heard test pipes and HFC w/ stock exhaust but not sure which one to get.
Test pipes i like the rasp and popping noises and the HFC makes the VQ tone much louder.

Yeah i know Y-pipe is very restrictive and planning to change that too and suggestion on which Y-pipe to get?

 

personally, i can't stand rasp. so my decision would be easy. as for you, that's a choice you'll have to make. if you like rasp, go with non-resonated test pipes (they're cheaper, anyway).

as for y-pipes, jic magic y-pipe is, imo, the best after market y-pipe. but it's also very expensive. the HR y-pipe is a popular "upgrade" that can be found for under $100.
